Pastel paintings, What ever

You’re my rock

This pastel painting I can turn around in anyway I want. There’s no up and down.

From the beginning I thought I painted a big rock and water below as a mirror. But when I turned the painting the size of the rock and the water changed.

What do you see in this painting?

Den här pastelltavlan visade jag på förra årets Vårsalong i Trosa. Den går att hänga åt vilket håll som helst med olika storlek på klippan och vattnet som resultat.

Du kanske ser något annat än en klippa som speglar sig i vattnet? Vad ser du i bilden?

    1. Thank you. It’s quite simple really. A bunch of color fields with pastels. Done! anyone can do it, it’s a fun way to make art 😀

  1. It’s wonderful, Anna. I love the colours and the geometry. It is beautiful reflections to me and I love the way these work in horizontal and vertical. I see trees and fields. It feels like a fjord. 🙂

  2. At first a rock reflected in water. Then a ship plowing through the water. Then a mountain. Wonderful painting.
