I know. Today someone missheard my saying and thought I said “now I die” (in Swedish). I answered that I’m not done with life yet. I don’t have the time to die yet. Maybe I never have that time, but time is to fast for me anyway.
Funny you posted this today. I did one similar. Today is the first day of school for my boys and time seems to be slipping away from me. Very melancholy today.
Anna most excellent question. The only time is present time and it is already gone as we speak. The present is always NOW then it’s gone and then it’s NOW ……. throw away your watch.
I am a fish. If I cannot swim in time then I die.

Mere wishful thinking, Anna; you might find oil in the desert, maybe even water, but not time – when time ends, life ends!

Tiden, som rinner iväg i öknen är alltså en hägring.

Sorry for my Swedish answer. An accident!
I ment to say:
Time, which flows off into the desert is therefore a mirage.

I wonder if the camels can store time just as they store water?

I am tempted to say that if time runs out we run out after it.
I see I have just given way to temptation.

You are probably right. We want to control time, not the other way around. But time do control us 🙂
