Swedish – English

Nobel – Nobel
Professor – Professor
Slang – Slang
Blind – Blind
Museum – Museum

That wasn’t so difficult ha?

    1. Yes there’s many words that are alike. Swedish language is a mix of many languages. English,german,italian,latin,spanish,french,turkish and many more I think.

      1. It’s a lovely language, my step mother in law speaks Swedish, most languages are a mix, many words are similar thank you for this lovely post , Anna.

          1. they certainly are, my friend is (was a linquist) he could speak so many languages fluently, his interest in language was beyond understanding, you have to be brilliant! 🙂 Enjoy your day!

            1. I regret that I was too shy and too uninterested in other languages in school. I could have learned so much more than I did then.
