Trosa harbor in cardboard

Another cardboard building. This time the buildings in Trosa harbor.

It’s fun building things in cardboard. You learn how the pieces match together and you lern by doing misstakes.

I use cardboard that otherwise would have gone to recycling, so if I cut a piece the wrong way it isn’t the end of the world. I haven’t used expensive stuff. There’s always another piece of cardboard I can use.

You should try this. It’s really fun 🙂

    1. Thank you. Yes I’m starting to realize that. I wonder what I should do with all buildings after Christmas. They will be xmas decorations for now, but I’ll have to do something more with them after that.

    1. Thank you. It’s a challenge to make it look like the original. I don’t scale the cardboard. I use the pieces I have and try to cut them so they match.

  1. Perhaps one of the buildings you are modelling in cardboard has space to accommodate an exhibition of models (this is less far fetched than it might seem – Marriott’s Warehouse in King’s Lynn where I live has a mini exhibition of models of distinctive local buildings) 🙂

    1. Me too. During the Christmas month they will be exhibited at my workplace in the windows. There people can see them when they’re out for a stroll:)
