Fire place (for sale)

Here’s a warm nice fire place to you all if you need one. Here in Sweden we need to stay warm because of the coldness outside. In nothern parts they have about -38 C some days, where I live we are heading towards -18 C tomorrow. We started at +O C this morning, but then the temp fell down to minus. Brrrr

If you don’t need a fire place for outside coldness, then you can imagine the warmness in your mind and mayby stay warm in your thoughts. Our world seems to get colder, if we shall believe what we read in the newspaper. But then I enter wp world and then it don’t feels so bad 😉

How many if you recognized the last words? How many of you now humming the Sound of music song …when the storm…?

I hope you are all doing ok. Have anyone heard from Melanie? I’m worried about here. I think we miss her activities here on wp.

The coldness and the darkness makes me slow. I will try to make new posts, but the idea making is so slow and the time…where does the time hide?

  1. We only have .7 now but it will be worse and with 18″ of snow by tomorrow. Normally we get about 2 meters of snow on average each winter. Your colors warm the spirit. Stay warm by the fireplace.

  4. One of the few good things about winter is having a fire going. As for Mel, I haven’t heard from her either. I’m worried too. Have been for a while. I think about her often though, hope all is well. 😕

  7. -6c here before factoring the wind. It’s been very windy lately taking us in the -20c range…. It’s cold. We are expecting at least 20cm of snow overnight and tomorrow morning. Emily is wishing for a snow day (no school). Haven’t heard from Melanie either. I keep looking… I hope she’s ok.

    1. I hope she’s ok too. Have a great snow day! We have coldness and not much snow. But I keep warm by the fire, so I’m okay for now. Wish for Spring though:)

            1. Good snow distance! This morning it is -17 C outside. Don’t want to go out at all, but I have to.

    2. I like about 18c, though we manage to keep our house at 23c no matter what. We don’t have air conditioning but circulate air with fans and open and close curtains and windows according to Sunshine and prevailing winds. Last winter was the coldest in a while with temps down to 6 and 7 c and we had to get out the column heater.

    3. do you mean 16 F or C because 16F is still below freezing. I suppose it can be someones favourite temperature. As I mentioned above, it has been 14 Celsius today in early summer.

    1. They say it’s gonna be -18 C here and we’re on the way down there this evening. Today we had -5 C, but it felt like-20 C in the wind.
