Libraries is our common soul

This post gave me the idea for this post.

I like libraries. They’re full of books and people in reading silence. You might think, silence – how boring. But, there’s a lot more sounds in libraries than anywhere else. You just don’t hear them as normal sounds.

Just take a look at a bookshelf with lots of books in it. Think of what’s in those books. I don’t mean the paper and the letters. I think of all the stories they carrying and the noises all things make in those stories. When we read the books we can hear the sounds. And yes, Thumbup says that it is possible for deaf people to hear the sounds too.

I read good news about our library in Trosa. We are best in the county of keeping the library open.

Keep reading books!
Fortsätt att läsa böcker!

  1. 🙂 I hit the button before I was finished with my thought. I agree that they are full of sound because a good book transports you to another place or time and you become part of the story.

  2. We go to the library fairly often, with our boys. We’re lucky in that we have a branch right here in our little town. I still love the painting of the eyes peering out from the books! 🙂

    1. Thank you. The painting likes you back 😀
It’s great that you have a nearby library. I remember our old library from childhood, it was great visiting that place.

            1. I’m so sorry. If I could do magic I would get you a dream job immediately! You are great, they just didn’t realized that.
