Spring time in Trosa means anemone times. Along roads outside Trosa city the anemones brighten up the woods with white shining beauty.
It’s like the Spring forrest in Ronia the Robbers Daughter film if you have seen it. It’s an Astrid Lindgren story worth both reading and seing on film. Some great guys from Trosa was in charge of the sounds in the film. They got a Swedish reward for that job in the 80’s.
Never mind, the anemones are a beautiful sight this time of year.
We have blue ones too

Thanks. It was a quick drawing on ipad. Maybe I do a real painting of anemones someday.

It would be fun to try. Today I took up an old ongoing painting. That felt good to get started again.

I have a couple on the go. Too busy to finish them at the moment.

Some paintings take time. I want to finish fast, but I’ve learned that some paintings don’t want to be finished fast.

Me too. They surprise me sometimes. I don’t think some paintings ever will be finished, but then one day I find a way to finish them. It’s amazing.

it’s quite the process, isn’t it?

Yes it is, but that’s the beauty with art. Art goes on forever, art never dies.
