I love trees, do you?

I don’t get why the politicians in my municipality Trosa keeps erase our forests. They think building houses is top priority. They don’t care for the climate changes at all. They keep building new roads that will increase the traffic, they build houses where nature lived before and they say that’s our hope and future. They cut down our protection against climate changes and call it necessary. For whom?

We’re running out of time. It’s time we start caring about nature and ourselves for real.

  1. Yes I love trees. Love nothing better than walking through woods or a forest. Think it must be my Celtic ancestry, perhaps I descend from Druids 🙂 Great artwork, as always.

      1. You are not alone. On this little island, a little south of you, know that a fellow weird guy is talking to the trees of the English countryside 🙂

  2. I love planting trees. I really hate seeing how they will tear down a old grove of trees when the developers tur a farm into asphalt and housing. 😦 “pling”

    1. Thank you. It’s sometimes easier to see pictures that just words to understand the information. That’s why I draw what I think sometimes. To understand what I’m reading.

  3. I bought my current home because of the lone, huge live oak tree in the back yard. I bought the back yard for my dachshund Baron and the tree for me. So yes I love trees and all they do for us 🙂

  4. I love trees, they do so much for us and yet get nothing in return. A forest of trees is so much better for the planet than the houses we build. Let’s get a pledge from our politicians to plant new forests to reduce our carbon footprint below zero xoxo

  5. When the Last Tree Is Cut Down, the Last Fish Eaten, and the Last Stream Poisoned, You Will Realize That You Cannot Eat Money

Tree Hugger? Sure… I’ll accept that label any day of the week. G’Day all. Thank you for sharing dear Anna 😉

  6. Because they think money is more important than the environment. But as they say. If they think the environment is less important than the economy, try holding your breath while you count your money!

    1. Good one, I agree! It’s sad that so many thinks money can save us. I think it’s the nature that can save us.
