Hey! Where did the reblog button go?

Have you noticed that the reblog button is missing on your posts.

I read several posts this evening that I wanted to reblog, but there was no reblog button. Then I checked my own blog and guess what? Reblog button was gone there too even if I have set the reblog ON in my settings.



I asked wp support


So I hope I get a good answer.

Until then, if you have anything to say about this, maybe you know where to find reblog button for an example, please let us know.

    1. Then it’s my iPad that’s maybe playing a trick. I wanted to reblog your tree walk. I’ll be back another day to check out if reblog button is back. Thanks for reblog!

  2. I’m not finding any of my posts on “Reader” and I don’t have a reblog button anywhere that I can see. I would reblog if I could. Instead I add your url to my blog so others can visit. I will watch and see if there is a change. thank you very much for pointing this out.

All kinds of odd things have been happening, from my “WordPress.com” log in failing, to “notifications” disappearing or freezing up and having to relog the site in order to use it it does the 404 thingy. I’m so computer savvy can you tell? lol After I posted my comments, some of the reblog buttons reappeared I didnt try them, they are there though, for how long is anyones guess. hope yours return sooner than later.

          1. Mine showed up but the rest is still sketchy apparantly they only have one tech on today, and others have had issues, what they were told, is “they” would get to each issue as they could. guess that will have to do lol

            2. would appear so, I’m new to this, only been here since July. My son is a computer whiz and knows exactly what’s wrong, as soon as I mentioned what’s happening. Seems my link was broken and I had to get rid of the WordPress.com log in, and replace that. It made a difference for me. However, the log in yo use for chatting here, is sketchy. I often have to log out and back in to enable it.

  5. It’s your iPad and reader! It’s not there. If I go to sign in on my iPad and don’t use the app or reader I can find the reblog

  6. All I had was a share on my videos and nothing on the art. So I checked it and think I have it more sharable now.

    1. You’re welcome. I still can’t find the reblog button in my iPad browser, but that’s not the blog settings fault. It must have something to do with the ipad or browser.

    1. Igår var den knappen synlig igen. Det verkar ha nåt att göra med inloggning eller nåt annat obegripligt. Jag blir tokig när saker inte fungerar som förväntat. Felsökning tar alldeles för mycket onödig tid.

    I think I have solved the issue about the missing reblog button. When you open a post in browser from wp app you have to make sure you have logged in on browser version of wp too. That’s doesn’t happen automatically just because you’re logged in on wp app. Reblog button only shows when your inlogged on wp. At least this is my theory right now. Happy blogging! Anna

  12. did you ever figure this out? I have it happen all the time on my site – I do everything correctly, yet it won’t appear on my desktop computer yet maybe will appear on my iPad, etc — soooo frustrating 😦

    1. I think it had something to do with being logged in or not. I don’t quite remember. I hope you find an answer to the problem. Thanks for stopping by 🙂

      1. online chatted with wp the other day – they said to go to safari preferences, then privacy, then uncheck the top box about cross-sharing — hope it works 🙂
