Between Fall and Winter

We’re not the only ones being surprised by the winter. At least we can stay indoors and stay warm. That’s not the case for marigolds.

    1. I will try. I sat by the fire today, so I’m warm for now. Cold outside, but that’s alright as long as I can stay indoors 🙂 “pling”

  1. Yes it’s going to hard on the flowers from now on. I picked our last bouquet yesterday – one rose, snapdragons and chrysanthemums .

  2. I LOVE this time of year because I see it as a big build up to Spring. Autumn is like sitting in auditorium with the lights up waiting for a big, bright colourful show to begin. Winter is that part where the lights go down and the orchestra starts to play while you wait for the curtain to go up and then BOOM! The curtain goes up and everything is bright and full of life again. Can’t wait for Spring but will enjoy the darkness as best I can! Goodbye sweet Marigolds, see your children next year.
