I did this paiting some years ago. I still like it. To me it says Hey, stop and make time for thinking. It’s so important that we give ourselves and others time to think. We don’t always have to act immediately. Many times it’s better to calm down, collecting facts and then give time for some serious thinking before take actions.
Do you give yourself and others time to think?

And yes, I got inspiration from the Rhodin sculpture 🙂
I saw it right off as the Thinker.

I’m better at it now than I ever used to be. Being married 20 years and raising 3 kids will certainly teach one patience. 😃

The patience thing will pass as you get older. The most unpatience people I know is the retired ones. They have a lot of time to spend on other things than work, but they’re so busy and don’t like to wait for things to happen.

Hahaha! Tell me about it. That’s the very population I work with the most. 😃

Hard to admit, but I think I’ve gotten better at doing this as I’ve grown older…

Me too. I find it peaceful to make time for thinking.

Love your stop sign. We all need to stop and take time for thinking and dreaming.
