The other day I saw this little fellow. It’s a beauty I think. My guess is I found a common pink-barred.

I think so too. I might want to do a drawing of it 🙂

Here where I live I have seen one-just one-butterfly so far. Worrying.

Same here. To few insects. But butterflies I have seen some at least. But there should be more if them this time of year.

Hardly any still. A well known naturalist here, Chris Packham, had described it as a critical point in British natural history. I’ve planted the seeds as always this and the flowers are starting to bloom-attracting some bees but no butterflies. Bird numbers are down too.

It is alarming. Birds we have seen many at a small water place we have near our house. Nice for us, but I think they come because they don’t find water elsewhere. This weekend after some rain I finally saw many bumblebees. They weren’t that many before the rain. But flowers are few this year so I wonder where the insects are gonna find their food. I saw butterflies this weekend. That was nice to see. They’re aren’t that many yet though.

Since we last spoke about this-I’m not sure if you’ve read my last post? There’s fire ranging near to where I live which has devastated the local wildlife 🙁

I just read the post. I hope everything will be okay eventually. Fires are not fun.

As I said over on my post I just hope the wildlife can recover in time.
