Yesterday we had movie evening at Lagnö Studio, a nice hostel place outside Trosa city.
Igår hade vi fimkväll på Lagnö Studio, ett trevligt STF vandrarhem utanför Trosa stad.

We showed the Chaplin movie The great dictator from 1940. Afterwards the audience were in thoughts. The striking resemblance to the today word leaders is scary. But the movie also gives hope. The good people in the movie inspires to fight stupidness. If you find a copy of the movie, see the film! Chaplin knew how to shrink the great dictator to the right size and importance.
Vi visade Chaplins Diktatorn från 1940. Efter filmen satt publiken i tankar. Den slående likheten med dagens situation skrämmer. Men filmen ger också hopp. De goda människorna i filmen inspirerar att bekämpa dumheten. Om du hittar ett sätt att se filmen gör det! Chaplin visste att krympa diktatorn till rätt storlek och betydelse.

I agree. He did it so elegant. It takes guts to shrink a dictator to the real size.
