Still Autumn – fortfarande höst

As long as I find these in the forest it’s Fall and not winter 🙂

Så länge jag hittar dessa i skogen tolkar jag det som att hösten stannat kvar ännu en stund före vinterns intåg 🙂

Have a lovely Saturday – ha en härlig lördag!

End of October in Trosa

This is Trosa Sweden around 16:00 a Sunday in October.

Street lights already on.

Almost no boats left in the little river. Only two kayaks. It’s still kayak weather if you have the right safety clothes on.

Today it’s very windy and cold. We’re heading to the w season I think.

But still nothing of that white stuff coming down. It can wait til December around x mas.

Have a great Sunday you all!

Something dark about the Fall

Fall in Sweden means dark mornings

It’s difficult to believe it’s time to get up when it looks like night outside.

In Summer the light is almost there all the time. Then you don’t know when to go to sleep. Now you don’t know when to wake up.

I like the season changes, but the light gone so many hours a day in Fall and winter, well that’s take time to adjust to.

Have a great day!

Something good about Fall

A walk in the woods. Fresh air, nature miracles and some nice findings 😉

I hope you all have the weekend you want. Mine is good so far 🙂

Tidlösa – Naked lady

One more beautiful thing about Fall.

Tidlösan dyker upp ur jorden. The Naked lady shows up in the garden.

In Swedish we call the flower without leaves Timeless, but I think the english name Naked lady says more about the flower without leaves. The leaves on the pictures don’t belong to the naked lady. The flower also goes by the name autumn crocus I think.

It is Fall when this beauty shows up. But I want some more summer before the real autumn enters. I will live in denial a little bit longer. How about you? What season do you have right now?

Ingrid Marie

One good thing with Fall. Apples 🙂

Hey, I have a question for you. What’s the difference between Fall and Autumn? Sometimes I write Fall and sometimes Autumn. In Swedish we only have one word for the season. We call it höst.

Moving South

When you start to hear the special Fall sound in the air and then look up in the sky where the sound come from you will see a bunch of grey geese moving south this time of year in Sweden.

Så här års kommer du att höra tydliga ljud ifrån skyn. Tittar du upp kommer du troligtvis skåda källan till ljudet. Grågäss som flyttar söderut.

Can you see the formation the geese makes in this drawing? If you see the drawing from long distance the formation should appear 🙂

Lingonberry – Lingon

This year seems to be a good lingonberry year. There’s lots of blooms in the woods.

In the Fall we will see if the blooms has turned in to berries.

#inktober 2016 #13 scared

The double meaning of pumpkin is fun don’t you think?

Join the inktober challenge:

Inktober rules:

1) Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).

2) Post it online

3) Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2016

4) Repeat

Note: you can do it daily, or go the half-marathon route and post every other day, or just do the 5K and post once a week. What ever you decide, just be consistent with it. INKtober is about growing and improving and forming positive habits, so the more you’re consistent the better.

That’s it! Now go make something beautiful.

Nature beauty capture with an old but full working phone camera.

I like quiet mornings 🙂

Autumn leaves

Jims post about playing with leaves made me draw this image.

Friday Musings

Do you remember when you played in the leaves when you was a child?

I remember the joy of autumn leaves.
