Så länge jag hittar dessa i skogen tolkar jag det som att hösten stannat kvar ännu en stund före vinterns intåg 🙂
Have a lovely Saturday – ha en härlig lördag!
Inktober has come to an end. It is always fun to do drawings to that challenge. My time for the challenge was limited so I didn’t manage to create many great drawings, but I will try better next year.
Today’s prompt MASK means mask in Swedish too. But mask in Swedish can also mean caterpillar. So now you know another Swedish word 🙂
This is Trosa Sweden around 16:00 a Sunday in October.
Today it’s very windy and cold. We’re heading to the w season I think.
But still nothing of that white stuff coming down. It can wait til December around x mas.
Have a great Sunday you all!
They are beautiful birds with lovely sounds, but when they arrive the cold season also soon arrives here in my parts of Sweden. We still have fairly warm weather for the month of October, but now I fear we are getting colder weather soon. Brrrr!
The upside of that is that more winter birds arrives in our area and that means more photo opportunities 🙂
Every season has charm. The fall is the tree season I think. They are so colorful before they drop their leaves. We still have some of that color explosion left. But now when the waxwings coming, the leaves will fall of the trees soon.
Fall in Sweden means dark mornings
In Summer the light is almost there all the time. Then you don’t know when to go to sleep. Now you don’t know when to wake up.
I like the season changes, but the light gone so many hours a day in Fall and winter, well that’s take time to adjust to.
Have a great day!
One more beautiful thing about Fall.
In Swedish we call the flower without leaves Timeless, but I think the english name Naked lady says more about the flower without leaves. The leaves on the pictures don’t belong to the naked lady. The flower also goes by the name autumn crocus I think.
It is Fall when this beauty shows up. But I want some more summer before the real autumn enters. I will live in denial a little bit longer. How about you? What season do you have right now?
Så här års kommer du att höra tydliga ljud ifrån skyn. Tittar du upp kommer du troligtvis skåda källan till ljudet. Grågäss som flyttar söderut.
Can you see the formation the geese makes in this drawing? If you see the drawing from long distance the formation should appear 🙂
This year seems to be a good lingonberry year. There’s lots of blooms in the woods.
In the Fall we will see if the blooms has turned in to berries.
Shoveling snow this evening. Sorry for not being here with you instead.
I wasn’t around much here yesterday either.
The stats clearly show what you think of my absence 😉
I hope you all are okay.
If you want to tell me and the others what you’re up to on your blog, please tell us in the comments and leave a link if you want.
We’re not the only ones being surprised by the winter. At least we can stay indoors and stay warm. That’s not the case for marigolds.
Join the inktober challenge:
1) Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).
2) Post it online
3) Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2016
Note: you can do it daily, or go the half-marathon route and post every other day, or just do the 5K and post once a week. What ever you decide, just be consistent with it. INKtober is about growing and improving and forming positive habits, so the more you’re consistent the better.
That’s it! Now go make something beautiful.
