In honor of short story month, I have decided to publish a story.  The short story has taken some hits in recent years, seen as a dying art, but I doubt that it is an art that will die completely.  Like many things it will evolve – it has evolved into comedic skits and indie short films and one act plays – and will continue to do so with time. With that being said I hope you all enjoy the short story.
