Andys post about and ancient sculpture and his challenge to me to post a drawing on the same theme made me dare do this post.
This is no. 10 drawing out of about a hundred drawings I plan to make. The inspiration come from a space epos, a poetic masterpiece.
It’s about humans that were forced to leave earth. They destroyed it with human stupidity and now they are lost in space with no possibility to return. No one is there to save them either. They will float around in space until nothing else remains.
In that despair they start thinking with other parts of the body than the brain. At least I interpret the words in the poem like that.
One big united sigh and all their memories of a lost world echoes in the halls of the space ship. The words have lost their original meaning.

Well done – a powerful piece of art. Unfortunately the possibility of us humans making our own world impossible to live on is all too real,

I agree. We are stupid. We should take better care of the planet.
