Nature miracles, Photographs, Trosa is the place

Trosa harbor in February

Welcome to Trosa harbor everyone:)

There’s not much human activity here this time of year, but it is beautiful with nature presence.

About 4 o’clock in the afternoon. In summer months there’s no such darkness almost in any time of the day.

This is the entry of Trosa from seaside.

In summertime this is the place for “Göta kanal-båtarna”, tour boats from Göta Kanal, when they visit Trosa.

Spring on its way in the grass, but winter in water where there’s still ice. This is part of the guest harbor.

Lots of boats on land still. And the water you see in the picture is actually a grass surface in summer.

Lots of boats inside the big grey buildings too, waiting for Spring to arrive.

This space is really crowded in summer. Can you imagine that?

Now you have walked from Trosa harbor at “Smörbyttan” to the inner Trosa harbor where Trosa river ends at the yellow houses in the pictures.

One of our wp friends, Gunnardeckare, made me aware of that it’s quite easy to go to Trosa by bus from Stockholm/Liljeholmen. “Trosabussen”, the Trosa bus have a station at Trosa harbor.

So if you are in Sweden and Stockholm and wants to visit a small town with lots of things to see and lots of walks to walk you can go to Trosa. If you like much people around you, go in summer time, if you like peace and quiet, do not go in summertime, pick another season 🙂

    1. Yes, it’s lovely with no snow. And the lights coming back fast now. I like this side of the year for that. The lights coming back! “Pling”

    1. I think so too. I often walk in Trosa in non summer seasons. Then it’s peace and quiet and time and space to think and get new energy. But tourists love the noicy Trosa in the summer. I go often go elsewhere then 🙂

            1. I see the signs too. And the birds on the roofs in my little town are everywhere doing…. well….it’s Spring time and the birds are in love!
