This is not an i-product from Apple 😉
It is me in the kitchen making apple chips from our apple tree. Ingrid Marie apples.
Boil water and a little sugar until the sugar has dissolved in the water. Let act cool. Slice apples with the skins left in thin slices. Add the Act and lift up on a plate. Dry in the oven on low heat for about 80-100 degrees C. It takes 3-5 hours to get them dry and crispy.
Really Good!
Anna
Yummy! I have several Granny Smith apples and I have a thought how some may end up thanks to you. 🙂

Good luck. Check the oven after a while. I get water on the floor when I open the oven. Lot of steam coming out from the apples.

We have a McIntosh tree, haven’t tried this yet but will. Usually make pies and cobblers with ours. 😃

I usually do that too, but there was lots of apples this year so I had to find out more things to do of the apples 🙂

My boys usually feed all our excess to the donkeys.

That must be a good way to get donkey friends 🙂

Yeah, we have a few. They always congregate at the fence to our yard when they’re in the front field. They know they’ll get plenty of treats! 😃

I like them a lot more than the cows, that’s for sure. 😃

My grandmother said that cows are wise. She was wise, so I believe her, but I don’t know any cow or donkey, so I can’t have an opinion. I Swedish we have a saying “stupid as a donkey”. But I don’t think they’re stupid. They are probably smarter than humans 🙂

I’m sure grandmother is wiser than I. But the cows I know are more creatures of habit than anything else. The donkeys have a cool personalty

My grandfather talked to the animals. Horses, cows and even a buzzard. They came when he called. He didn’t even have to raise his voice.

My mouth is watering over the apple chips…they were always made in December and were a nice, healthy treat! I think I’ll make some – thanks for sharing the recipe!

The Beatles-the Fab Four, called the girl fans who hung around the Apple offices waiting for a glimpse of them the Apple Scruffs. It was a term of endearment, coined I think by George.

They do. They don’t last long though. They’re to good to eat, so saving them is hard.
