Once a year the Askö laboratory in Trosa archipelago open for the public.

The place is part of Baltic sea center. Marine biology research is going on constantly out there.

You can read about the Baltic sea weed research at the blog Balticseaweed/Tångbloggen.

At www.itrosa.se you can read about the day at Askölab.

It was a wonderful day and so exciting to sea all the different animals living in the sea.

I made a drawing of the day 🙂

        1. It is fun. The paint bucket never ends! And you can paint in several layers and regret what you’ve paint and paint again without destroying the painting.

  4. The sea, she gives us so very much. Shame on us for what we give her in return. I’ve always had such a strong connection with the sea. Thank you Anna. I believe you capture more of the scene than the photograph as you paint from your heart and it shows. 🙂 x
