I got a new artproject idea and I need your help.
We all have to face millions of question everywhere we go. Some of them we don´t want to answer, some of them feels weird to answer, some of them we wanna tell a lie to answer.
Some questions are very easy to answer or fun or interesting to find an answer to. Some questions give us wake up calls, they make opportunities to change our lives.
Some questions makes us uncomfortable, stressed or sad. Other questions makes us happy, inspired and grateful.
In Swedish the Ash tree is called ASK. My painting idea is a tree (an Ash/Ask) with leaves as questionmarks.
Our lives are like a tree, with many branches and many question leaves. No one can ever know every answer about our selves. We will always have unanswered questions that no one know the answer to.
I want the painting to show the common or uncommon question we have to face in our lives. When we look at the painting we can read the questions and take our own time to answer them for ourselves. No one else have to hear our answer.
Do you have any questions you wanna ASK me (or someone else) ?
Feel free to ASK questions in the comments field. I will try to answer them if I can 😉
I will collect your questions and put them in the ASK-painting. Of course I will show you the final result of the painting here on my artblog.

I have many questions, of course. But a major curiosity is, “Why are we here? What is our purpose, the purpose of life?”. We are destined to have that question unanswered in our current realm, I’m afraid.

I did the sketch in the ipad app Sketchbook pro. Really fun to draw on ipad. Google David Hockney and draw on ipad, amazing paintings on ipad 🙂

There are many free paint apps you can try. Paintbrush is one and I think sketchbook have a free version too. It’s fun drawing on ipad. the color never ends, they are erasable and you can paint in several layers 🙂

Love the concept Anna. Yet there are questions people sometimes ask, that do not deserve an answer. There are such things as toxic questions, things that are nobody’s business or that the individual who asks had their own agenda…

Totally agree. Those questions are not fun and do no good.

Why does it have to take the bad things to recognize and appreciate the good things?

Love the project that you are doing. Here’s my question for you: Why everyone loves each other, but no one really likes one another?

I think that the only question I’ve got is… why can I scream at the top of my lungs and still go unheard?
My point being, I have so much to say, yet I often am ignored. I have gained a great amount of insight and wisdom from the rare set of circumstances under which I’ve grown up in this world, I’ve got a lot to offer people in terms of advice and direction, yet not a lot of people want to hear me… even though they claim to want answers, they actually don’t.

I know exactly what you mean. People should listen to you. You have so much valuable things to say and you’re wise and an angel here on earth. Keep speaking, keep giving answers even though they’re inconvenient. The world needs you. Your question will get a place in the tree 🙂

Nice one, Anna! I like the idea. You reminded me of something I made a while back. It was in similar line of idea but carried a different message. I wish I had kept it around!
