Reach out and jump in

Are you aware of that your language settings on your dashboard makes different in how many people you reach with your blog?

This is mainly for you, who don’t choose english as language in the settings.

If you choose your own language, me for an example, choosed Swedish when I started my blog. A stupid thing to do, I realized after a while. My blog only showed up in the reader for other Swedish blogs. I didn’t reached the world!

When I changed my language settings to English all of a sudden the whole world could discover me in their readers. A new bloglife and a new world open up for me.

So, if you still have your home language in your settings and think you don’t seems to reach out as far and wide as you want. Try change language settings to English.

I don’t know how it works with other worldwide languages, but my little country Sweden, does not reach worldwide in wp settings.

Even if you change language in settings, you can still write in wich language you want.

      1. No worries! I got nominated and part of it was to nominate others I liked. Thought it was a good opportunity to let people know how cool you are. No biggie either way, I know they’re time consuming.

    1. Ja, det är tokigt. Men det går att skriva ändå på vilket språk man vill. Men med engelska i inställningarna syns blogposterna i läsaren utanför t ex Sverige. Dessvärre ändras språket på admin board då också. Men man vänjer sig.

      1. Ja, nu är det ändrat och klart. Tur att jag oftast tycker det är enklare att förstå på engelska än på svenska. Tack för tipset 😉

        1. När man klickar på din ikon i kommentarsfältet kommer man till en tom blogg. Är det så eller kan du ge en länk till din aktiva blogg?

            1. Ett tips är att ändra till den länken i inställningarna för din profil/ikon/gravatar. Då kan folk hitta din blogg när du kommenterar inlägg på andras bloggar 🙂
